ASTER Tiemann Catheters are generally used to aid in urination for men who have enlarged prostates or suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tiemann Catheters are sometimes used for women, although a Tiemann tip is usually designed to aid in permeating a small opening.
ASTER Tiemann Catheters are supplied in sterile, peel-open packages. They are intended for one time use only. The catheters are made of clear PVC.
