The ASTER Silisoft Stent is a double-pigtail ureteral stent manufactured entirely from medical-grade silicone. The pure silicone construction provides exceptional biocompatibility and softness, making it the preferred choice for patients with hypersensitivity to other polymer materials or those requiring a stent with minimal irritation properties.
The inherently smooth silicone surface resists bacterial adhesion and encrustation, contributing to patient comfort during the indwelling period. The soft, flexible body conforms comfortably to the natural curvature of the ureter and bladder without causing mucosal trauma.
Available in standard French sizes and lengths. Supplied sterile, single use only.
